Purchasing Assistant Manager

Responsibilities
  • Research, compare and evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, delivery, and service
  • Negotiate terms, contracts, and pricing agreements to secure the best value for the organization
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery delays, quality, or invoicing
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records, vendor information, and pricing data
  • Collaborate with internal departments to plan procurement accordingly
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and applicable regulations
  • Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies for cost reduction and process improvement
  • Work closely with the Finance Department to arrange and process supplier payments, ensuring all payments are accurate and made on time

Requirements
  • Min 3 years of experience in Purchasing/Procurement/Logistic
  • Diploma/Bachelor/Master Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Management, or similar field with minimum GPA 3.20
  • Knowledge of purchasing processes, sourcing strategies, and supplier management
  • Experienced in handling export import
  • Experienced in handling fragile stock shipments overseas and/or international forwarding services is a plus
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Google sheet
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
